Is Sofía a real person?
No. Sofía is an AI voice tutor that runs on OpenAI’s voice models. She can make mistakes, so treat her feedback as practice help, not a final word.
Which languages can I learn?
Spanish if you speak English, and English if you speak Spanish. You choose when you start, and you can switch any time in Settings.
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 17 or later and an internet connection. Headphones help Sofía hear you clearly.
How do the weekly minutes work?
Your 30 minutes reset every Monday at midnight in your time zone. Unused minutes don’t carry over. If you start a lesson before you reach the limit, you can finish it.
How do I cancel?
In your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to my lessons and voice?
Your voice and lesson text are sent to OpenAI to run the tutor. We keep transcripts and summaries so Sofía can plan your next lesson. We don’t sell your data or track you across apps, and you can delete your account in Settings. Read the privacy policy.
When can I get it?
HolaHello is in a private beta on TestFlight now. Email us to join, and we’ll let you know when it’s on the App Store.
